I know penny stocks are “bad” and all but just wanted to maybe mess around with some. Can e-trade be used to buy penny stock? and what are the odds the when a company comes out of bankruptcy that the stock is dissolved?

    If you have the correct symbol of the stock then ETrade will buy it for you to the limit of funds available. Needless to say, if the company is in bankruptcy it would be illogical to puchase it at this time. If only one of its creditors wanted to have a force sale it could do the company in for good.
